The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. These programs provide high quality preparation for the teaching profession and are recognized for their excellence in the state and southwestern region. The Bilingual Education/English as a Second Language credential program provides the student an opportunity to complete a state-approved course of study in this area while completing any teacher certification program.

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction consists of eleven full-time faculty members. Offices are located on the first floor of the Chambers Library.
