Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Designed as a liberal arts degree, this program also functions as a pre-professional degree that prepares students to pursue a graduate education. Like any liberal arts degree it is also designed to provide a variety of experiences for a well-rounded education. We are proud of this degree and believe it to be one of the finest preparatory programs in the Southwest. Our graduates receive foundational education in statistical design, experimental psychology, physiology, learning, and history. They have gone on to earn doctoral degrees at leading universities around the country. The BA requires 124 hours total with a minimum of 52 hours in psychology and the rest of the hours as electives. See undergraduate catalog for further information.
