1. Purchase an ePortfolio Account

Accounts can currently be purchased from Thompson’s Bookstore or the University Book Store (Barnes and Noble).  They are currently $58.75, and any person that purchases an account will be given their individualized account activation code. Renewals for the account will need to be purchased ($46.50) for subsequent years that the person continues in their program of study.

2. Obtain or Have an E-Mail Address

All accounts must be tied to an e-mail account for security reasons with the Chalk and Wire product. Users will receive communication about their account from the company and their password in this manner. If a person does not currently have an e-mail address before ePortfolio account activation, then one will need to be created.  We recommend use of your UCO email address for communication purposes and consistency with the information on file for Teacher Education Services.

3. Internet Connection or Access to the Internet

 All ePortfolio accounts are entirely web-based, meaning they are entirely saved on the Chalk and Wire servers and no disks are needed to save all the content and graphics   you use. Accounts can be accessed anywhere there are Internet services available.  Accounts can be used at any number of places, including your home or in computer labs at UCO.

4. Electronic or Printed Instructions for Usage

Customized instructions for UCO students have been included on this website for             printing and reference while using ePortfolio functions. By following the instructions, a user should be able to activate and complete their ePortfolio.
