Students moving through the teacher preparation
program at the University of Central Oklahoma
get a double-dose of handheld instruction.
First they learn the basics and general uses in their
foundation courses, like educational psychology and
instructional technology. Then as they take their
specialized methods classes, they study how
handhelds by palmOne can be used in various subject
areas, such as math, science, health studies/PE, English,
and social studies.
