The laptops are all Windows-based  and have a variety of software installed.  All CEPS computers are running the full suite of Microsoft Office 2003. You will also find up-to-date versions of Adobe Acrobat, QuickTime, RealPlayer, and other standard presentation software installed.

A wireless access point is mounted to the mobile cart, allowing all 30 laptops to access the network simultaneously.

An HP LaserJet printer is also mounted to the cart.  It will arrive in your classroom with a full tray of paper. If more paper that that is required by your classroom activity. it must be provided by the instructor’s department.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students must save their work to a USB flash drive, a folder on the network, or email it to themselves.  The mobile lab's laptops do not come with a floppy drive or CD drive.
