Requests by Non-College of Education and Professional Studies Faculty

Non-College of Education and Professional Studies faculty and staff who request equipment for events in the Education Building (for classes or meetings) are subject to the same policies and procedures as CEPS faculty and staff.

However, be aware that non-College of Education and Professional Studies faculty and staff who request media or equipment for events in other buildings need prior permission from members of college administration before their request can be scheduled.

After the UCO Media Center was dismantled, UCO’s assistant deans began coordinating this type of inter-college request.  Non-College of Education and Professional Studies faculty and staff should contact their own college’s assistant dean before making any requests.  The assistant dean may be aware of in-house college resources that may be used.  If resources are not available in their college, the assistant dean will contact the College of Education and Professional Studies' associate dean, Dr. Pam Fly.

Dr. Fly will examine the options available, and (with input from Rod Edwards, the college's instructional technologist), will determine if the ITC can reasonably fulfill the request.  If it is determined that ITC resources are the best option, and that we can reasonable provide those resources, the request can be scheduled.

Please be aware that the ITC student assistant can not schedule resources for Non-College of Education and Professional Studies faculty and staff for use in any building without the above administrative permission.
