When videotaping a guest speaker, a special academic event, mock interviews, etc., please bring a VHS tape purchased by you or your department. ITC funds are especially limited in regard to consumable materials such as VHS tapes, floppy disks, paper, office supplies, etc.

If you are videotaping an event that you wish to become part of the ITC media collection, a blank VHS tape from ITC can be used. These videos should enhance classroom learning for a specific source. The tape should be returned to ITC within 48 hours of the event to be cataloged, labeled, numbered, and deposited in the ITC media collection. Your videotaped event will then be made available for checkout.

Naturally, in case of emergencies, ITC will be happy to lend a blank tape if one is available.
If you do borrow a VHS tape from the ITC, we ask that you please bring us a blank VHS tape
(again, within 48 hours) to replace the one expended.
