The Instructional Technology Center was originally the
College of Education's Media Center. It was housed in Old North, Room
309, and was founded in 1993. As technology has increasingly become more
essential to education, the Center has grown to meet the needs of the
teaching faculty.
In June of 1996, the Center moved to the new Education
Building, Room 211, and was renamed the Instructional Technology Center.
Today, the Instructional Technology Center (ITC)
continues to support the academic mission of the College of Education
and Professional Services by
providing media and technology resources to classrooms and assisting faculty and students as they use these
resources to enhance teaching and learning.
