Application

The Eley Fister Schaul Endowed Scholarship was established in 2002 to financially assist a current student seeking a Masters of Education in Instruction Media - library information option. A scholarship in the approximate amount of $1000 will be awarded to two students each year ($500 per semester) during the regular school year. The guidelines and academic requirements to receive this scholarship are:

female pursuing a Master of Education in Instructional Media - library information option
3.5 overall GPA
U. S. citizen
established financial need
Oklahoma resident preference

All applications are to be submitted to the Instructional Media Education Program Coordinator. She will then forward them to a committee composed of five (5) IME Alumni who are practicing school library media specialists. This committee will review the applications and choose an awardee for each semester.

Deadlines for submission are April 1 for the following year [the deadline has been extended to April 15th this year].
